Tsul produces tembo TMT Rebars at its most modern rebar mill .3 MTPA capacity located in lugazi, uganda.

The company produces TMT rebars with latest on-line high yield quenching and self tempering technology. The modern mill equipped with New Field, India enhanced temperature control system produces TMT rebars in 6mm to 40 mm diameter suitable for high strength applications.

The TMT rebars are conforming to the latest US EAS 412-2:2013 specifications and are available in Fe 500D, Fe 550D grade in normal where Fe 500D grade is highly suitable for seismic prone areas.

INTEGRATED MANUFACTURING PROCESS :

TSUL TMT gold bars are produced using a fully integrated manufacturing process. With all equipment in-house such as: Sponge Iron Kilns, Induction Melting Furnaces, Ladle Refining Furnace, Continuous Caster, Fully equipped Chemical Laboratory with 24 channel Spectrometer, 0.3 MTPA Rolling Mill with AC Variable Drives and a state-of-art Physical Testing Laboratory – seamlessly integrated into a loop of Quality at the world-class steel manufacturing plant at Lugazi

ADVANTAGE PURITY:

The steel produced in Induction Furnace is further refined using a Ladle Refining Furnace which ensures lower sulphur (impurity) levels, lower inclusion levels, lower gas levels and results in cleaner steel. These pure steel billets with a much lower Carbon content provide TSUL TMT gold bars with uniform strength, excellent ductility and superior bendability. These bars hence have an inherently higher fire as well as corrosion resistance and are ideally suited for creating earthquake resistant structures.
